Hideki Nakazaki is a Peruvian-Japanese filmmaker, editor, and researcher whose work explores identity, migration, and the Japanese diaspora in Latin America. Born in Peru and raised partly in Japan and Spain, his films examine how memory, roots, and cultural hybridity shape the lives of Nikkei communities.

He graduated from the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV, Cuba) and holds a Master’s degree in Screenwriting from the University of La Rioja (Spain). His documentary and fiction projects have received support from institutions such as IDFA and the Ministry of Culture of Peru.

Currently based in Japan, Nakazaki researches the Nikkei community through a JICA cultural program and leads N35 Films, a production company dedicated to film projects that recover memory and amplify the voices of Latin American Nikkei creators

中崎秀樹 日系ペルー人の映画監督・編集者・研究者であるヒデキ・ナカザキは、アイデンティティ、移民、そしてラテンアメリカにおける日系ディアスポラをテーマに作品を制作している。ペルーに生まれ、一時期日本でも暮らした経験から、彼の映画は記憶やルーツ、そして文化的ハイブリディティが日系コミュニティの人生にどのような形を与えるのかを探求している。

キューバのサン・アントニオ・デ・ロス・バーニョス国際映画テレビ学校（EICTV）で映画制作を学び、スペイン・ラ・リオハ大学にて脚本の修士号を取得。これまで制作したドキュメンタリーおよびフィクション作品は、アムステルダム国際ドキュメンタリー映画祭（IDFA）やペルー文化省など、国内外の機関から支援を受けている。

現在は日本を拠点とし、JICAの文化プログラムを通じて日系コミュニティに関する研究を進める一方、映像制作会社 N35 Films を主宰。ラテンアメリカの日系クリエイターの声を広げ、記憶を紡ぐ映画プロジェクトに取り組んでいる。また、スペインでも数年間生活し、多文化的な視点から映像と言語文化に向き合ってきた。
